Questions

Answering all questions fully takes about 25 minutes. Answers marked with an asterisk (*) are required for a full blog post

A. About your organization

1. Organization name *

2. What does your organization do? * One sentence that does not require special knowledge - think a teenager. Keep to about 200 characters.

3. Sector * Select up to 3

4. Country or region (optional)

5. How many people use InvenTree in your organization? *

6. Roughly how many distinct parts do you manage? (optional)

B. What is InvenTree solving for you?

Readers relate most to the problem you started with.

8. What did you use before InvenTree? * Spreadsheets, another tool, an ERP, paper, nothing at all. This can be kept general, we do not want to bash other tools / vendors explicitly. It mostly helps to set the context for why you needed InvenTree and might help others that are in a similar situation.

9. What problem made you look for something new? (optional) A specific moment helps, like a missed build, a lost reel, or an audit.

10. Why did you choose InvenTree? (optional) For example open source, self-hosting, the API, cost, or community. This can be both your personal perspective or why your leadership or organsiation chose it.

C. How you use it

This shows other readers what InvenTree can do in practice.

11. Which features do you rely on? * Select all that apply.

12. If you would have to single out one feature, which would it be and why? * Max 400 characters. Example: “I could not run our custom widget production line without InvenTree Test Result tracking. It has improved after-sales diagnosing of problems for multiple teams here a WidgetCo.”

We might use this as a opener in social media to link to the post

18. One number that shows the impact (optional) For example “stock-take went from 2 days to 3 hours” or “12,000 parts tracked across 3 sites” (max 120 characters).
